" ENGINEERS CAN NOT BE MADE IN CLASS ROOMS "

A real engineer is not the one who has theoritical knowledge but is the one who knows to implement his knowledge practically.

We do understand the importance of "Practical Knowledge" and so have given due importance to this concept by introducing a "PROJECT LAB" under the guidance of Prof. Rahul Dayal and his team, where the students learn to design and fabricate circuits and make projects which are useful in their day to day life.

The following are the few projects made by first year students in KEC:

>> Regulated Power Supply
>> Function Generators
>> FM / Stereo System
>> Intercom System
>> Password Operated Security System
>> Mini- Radio Station ( with FM Transmitter & Receiver)
>> Morning Alarm, Fire Alarms, Bulgulars Alarm etc.

These projects will not only be an asset for the students & the college , but will also help the students in refining their concepts.
A "project competition" was organised by the college on 20/04/05 where the projects made by various students were displayed along with their project reports and charts. The judge of the competetion was Hon. Prof. T. Ramanujam.
