SOCEC (Society for Cognitive Intelligence in Computation) has been formed for technical grromin of students belonging to IT field by organizing quizzes,seminars and other technical events and to motivate students to participate in various competitions. A Mega quiz competition was organized by SOCES from 16th to 20th Nov consisting of three rounds namely ACNE round(Aptitude C Language & Numerical Eng),TECH round (Database, OS, Data Structure & Algo, Core Java) and Oral Quiz round.

     BLITZ is the name of computer science society launched with great enthusiasm by Computer Science & Information Technology departments in Nov-2009 with the aim of providing a Forum to students to participate in computer science & IT Related activities like Workshops, Seminars, Lectures, Technical paper presentations and Quizes etc. A 3 day Workshop on "DB 2/SQL Programming" was organized in collaboration with IBM from 3rd to 5th Mar-2010 in which 5 faculty members and 121 final students of CSE & IT participated.

     ELECTROPHILA Electronic society in the college has been established in Mar-2009 and is engaged in various outside acctivities to nurture and enhance the technical skills and encourage the students to consolidate their interest in Electronics and related fields. No. of quizes on electronics have been using simple IC's like NE 555 or OP Amps and advance devices like micro controllers have been conducted. ELECTROPHILA members are very active in tech. fest held in various colleges under UPTU as well as in IITs and NIITs.A team comprising of 4 members of the society drawn from 2nd and 3rd year have brought themselves laurels by coming 4th in Robotic Hardware implementation and competition at All INDIA level held at IIT Kanpur from 11th Feb to 14th-Feb-2010. Society has organised a workshop on "Practical Electronics" in association with "M/S BlueInk Infotech Pvt. Ltd.".

     S-EEE (S-Triple E) is the acronym for society of Electical & Electronics Engineers. Society has been formed to provide plateform to students of Electrical & Electronics Branch students to organize and conduct Lectures ,Presentations, Seminars ,Quiz competitions and Workshops.

     MESA (Mechanical Engineering Students Association) has been established in ME Deptt for providing platform to the students for their professional and overall development. A twelve weeks Skill Development Programme(SDP) on "Plastic Injection Moulding" was successfully organized for 10+2 drop out students by the society through Deptt of Science & Technology (STST), New Delhi in ME Deptt from 17th Mar'09 to 30th May'09. A visit was also planned at "Vimal Plast", Noida as part of the SDP.To give fillip to MESA activities ,51 ME students and 2 faculty members have got membership of"Society of Automotive Engineers"(SAE) India. A convention of SAE was attended by them on 6th Mar'10 at I.G.I.T, delhi where students have presented papers.
