The infrastructure development of our institute has been in a continuous process. Our focus has been on simultaneous growth of both the basic needs like classrooms, laboratories, workshops and library, conference hall etc. for academic activities on one hand and student support facilities like hostels, canteen, stationery shop, medical support, transport, students activity center etc. on the other hand. The development of the institute has been planned in a phased manner so that the required facilities become available well before the need arises.

Lecture Rooms
The lecture rooms of the college are spacious, airy, ventilated, and well furnished. Special attention is paid to each and every student. The Class room creates healthy atmosphere for the students

Lecture rooms are well lit and echo- proof to facilitate the teaching-learning process. Classrooms are designed for conventional lectures and group discussions.

Computer Center
IT Lab :
The Computer Science and Engineering department has an IT lab which caters for 300 students of all branches of first year and 240 students of second year. The lab has 75 IBM Pentium IV computers out of which 60 are on LAN. The lab is equipped with 9 System softwares and 3 Application Softwares. The lab is provided with a 1 mbps Internet connection for the students to extract useful information from the internet.

MCA Lab :
An MCA lab for sixty students with 60 P-IV computers caters to the needs of Ist year and IInd year MCA students. This lab is also equipped with a 1 mbps Internet connection and has adequate system and application softwares for higher level practical training to the MCA students.

Computer Lab :
In addition to the IT and MCA lab the college also has a Computer Center having P-IV, IBM computers a 1 Mbps internet Connection and adequate number of application and system softwares. Apart from faculty, the computer center is managed by a dedicated team of a System administrator, a network engineer and a data entry and provides hardware and software training to the students.

Library
KEC has fully computerised library-cum study hall with a collection of more than 11,000 books of Electrical Engineeting, Electronics Engineeting, Computer Engineeting / IT, MCA, Mechanical Engineeting, Management, Applied Science (English,Chemistry,Physics,Enviournmental Science) with over 26 printed and 219 E journals, 15 Magezines of current affairs and Technology & 7 News Papers. The college is also a member of DELNET through which library material of other libraries can also be accessed.

Library is equipped with fully computerised circulation and searching system which helps the members to check the availabity of the books and ensures fast circulation of books. Photocopy facility is also available within the library to provide better asssistance to the students.

Compact Disks of various books, magezines etc. are also available in the Library to provide them further guidance. Separate study blocks are provided to the faculty and students for study in the Library.

Chemistry Lab
Chemistry Lab helps students in analysing various samples to determine alkalinity, chlorine, iron content etc. in the given sample through Spectro Photometric , PH Metric and Metal Ore Analysis. Students also determine equivalent weights, viscosity of polymers as well as carry out functional group identification in the organic compounds. During these experiments , students also learn to use various instruments like Electrical Balances, P-H Meter, Spectro Photometers.

Physics Lab
Physics Lab contains various set ups to conduct experiments in optical, magnetic and electrical properties of various materials. Optical experiments are carried out to measure the wavelength of light by using Newton's Rings Biprisms and Transmission Gradings. A specially designed dark room with required experiments set ups to determine the type, density and energybands of given semiconductor material and students can verify the theoretical concepts taught in the class. The lab also has various electrical bridges to measure various parameters of a given conductor.

Electrical Engineering
This lab caters for 300 students of all branches of Ist year. In this lab the students are exposed to various types of ac/dc inductors, transistors and transformers. They are able to visualize their operation and maintenance features. They also work on semiconductor kits of rectifier and amplifiers circuits. Students practically verify various theorems taught to them in theory like Norton Theorem. By practical classes, we help them to assure their interest in this field .

Electronics and Communication Engineering
Basic Electronics Lab :
The basic electronics lab form the very basic foundation of all engineering students where they experiment with electronic trainer kits and discrete compartments to designer various amplifiers , filters and rectifiers circuits there by enhancing their technical knowledge with practical skills.

Electronic Workshop and PCB Lab :
In the first year, the students learn to design various circuits on paper. During second year, they are taught PCB design to prepare printed circuit boards by using a set of 11- 12 machines. The students design on computer, prepare their films and make required PCB’s. The students also prepare transformers and using discrete components to waveform prepare various types of power suppliers in the lab.

Mechanical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering Lab imparts training to all engineering students of first year on various types of IC Engines, Turbines, Boilers and Refrigerators through cut-outs and models. By Physically operating and observing these models, students acquire a solid grasp of their construction, use as well as operation to become confident in dealing with these frequently used machines.

Workshop
Workshop Technology is an extremely important practical subject for engineers opting for various manufacturing fields. A well laid out workshop comprising of Machine Shop, Welding, Black Smithy, Carpentry, Fitting and Sheet Metal Shop has been set up.

Practical hand on training on all the above streams of Workshop Technology is imparted to the students by assigning different jobs. First year students of all branches undergo the above training in the workshop.

Language Lab
To enhance the language skills and the confidence level of the students, Language Lab has been estabilished. Language Lab is not a luxury but a neccessity today. English is the language of International business communication, science and technology, media and computers. Keeping in view the need of this Link Language - English and great demand for spoken English, students improve their speaking and listening comprehension accurately and fluently in the Language Lab.

Hostels
To make the environment conducive for holistic development of students, KEC ensures provision of all basic necessities in the hostel which includes a well lit, and adequately ventilated spacious room, equipped with a bed, study table, computer node and an attached bath.

Hostel facility has a power back up and clean drinking water. Facilities are there for various indoor / outdoor activities
The Hostel kitchen provides wholesome meal three times a day. It is gearing up to offer a palatable multi-cuisine menu to the resident students.
