The Department of Applied Science & Humanities

Department of Applied Sciences imparts excellent quality education in the area of Applied Sciences for the future technocrats of all streams. The department also strives to instill the scientific temper and the spirit of enquiry in students. It encourages the students to understand and therefore apply the physical laws to the development of their fields of study. We strongly believe that an educational programme should be able to promote the development of a balanced and harmonious personality of the students. Hence, the educational program of KEC has been tailor made to suit such requirements.

The Department of Applied Sciences aims to provide a strong foundation in the fundamental science subjects of Engineering Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Professional English. We emerge as a World Class Institute in creating and disseminating knowledge, and providing students a unique learning experience in science and Technology that will best serve the world and betterment of mankind.

We pursue continuous development of infrastructure and enhance state-of-the art facilities to provide our students a technologically up-to-date and intellectually inspiring environment of learning and ensure high quality content by qualified faculty members who set the marks of excellence in their every endeavor.

Facilities and Laboratories

Infrastructure

Almost every topic taught during lectures has a corresponding laboratory experiment. All Laboratories are fully equipped to conduct the experiments as per the syllabus of the University. The department pays great attention to its laboratories & equipments and acquires modern equipments whenever necessary. The labs provide ample practical experience and facilitate the students with applications of their theoretical learning. A brief of various laboratories are appended below:
