The Department of Civil Engineering
The main scope of Civil Engineering or the task of civil engineering is planning, designing, estimating, supervising construction, managing construction, execution, and maintenance of structures like building, roads, bridges, dams, etc. One who designs and maintains works of public utility is known as civil engineer.
There is an excellent scope of job avenues for Civil Engineers in India. Few of them are listed below:
Structural Engineers analyze, design, plan, and research structural components and structural systems to achieve design goals and ensure the safety and comfort of users or occupants. Their work takes account mainly of safety, technical, economic and environmental concerns, but they may also consider aesthetic and social factors.
Highway Engineers are civil Engineers who plan and help build the thousands of miles of roads built across the country every year. They must take into account future traffic flows, design of highway intersections/interchanges, geometric alignment and design, highway pavement materials and design, structural design of pavement thickness, and pavement maintenance.
Geotechnical Engineers plan and design the structures for buildings, roads, embankments, canals and hundreds of other construction projects. Beyond their construction role, the geotechnical engineer will also deal with geological hazards like landslides, soil erosion and, in some extreme conditions, earthquakes.
Surveying Engineers perform measurements to determine property boundaries. Their work involves measuring distances, researching land records, and presenting findings. Surveying engineers are typically required to have a bachelor's degree and obtain licensing.
Environmental Engineers use the principles of engineering, soil science, biology, and chemistry to develop solutions to environmental problems. They are involved in efforts to improve recycling, waste disposal, public health, and water and air pollution control. They also address global issues, such as unsafe drinking water, climate change, and environmental sustainability.
Construction Engineers Construction Engineering is a professional discipline that deals with the designing, planning, construction and management of infrastructures such as roads, tunnels, bridges, airports, railroads, facilities, buildings, dams, utilities and other projects.

The aim of the Civil Engineering discipline seeks to prepare students to be successful professionals and entrepreneurs who can be recognized for Critical thinking and problem solving based on a fundamental knowledge of humanities, social sciences, mathematics, science, engineering science and a broad range of civil engineering technical areas.

Facilities and Laboratories
The department of Civil Engineering provides excellent infrastructural facilities with modern furnished classrooms with projectors, seminar hall and more than 8 well equipped laboratories in which except normal testing various research work is performed by students and faculties. Many of our departmental research works are being appreciated and have been selected in various government societies. Some of them have also been selected for MSME etc.

Students of 2nd year grabbed 2nd prize at AKTU zonal project competition.

Students of 3rd year won first prize at zonal level and 2nd prize at state level at AKTU Skit Competition.
Student of 4th year grabbed 2nd prize in literary fest.
Underwater Tunnel Project
Student of 2nd year civil scored 3rd position in ZONAL FEST (March 2018) held at IPEC ,Ghaziabad with their project “UNDERWATER TUNNEL.
3rd year students scored 1st position in college tech fest ,BEAR THE LOAD “ in constructing “HYDRAULLIC BRIDGE “ with ice cream sticks and then load testing , on 22 Feb 2018.

It is Satisfactory experience in 4 year tenure of B.Tech course for me. Your teaching performances continue to be average as evaluated by me and other colleagues. I concur with that assessment based on my observations of your teaching and instructional materials. However, you have succeeded in developing a reputation as one of our most popular advisors. I applaud your success in the advisory component of your instructional activities. I am ANUPAM TRIPATHI, CIVIL ENGINEERING ( 2013-2017)In my student life I may come across many incidents which made a big difference in life. Taking admission in Krishna Engineering College was on of that . It was a learning hub for me. I learnt to be pragmatic there. All the teachers were so skilled and supportive. In civil department we had a very friendly teacher-student bond. The college had some rules , we went according them and we ruled.

In 2015 I was diploma pass out. I took admission in K.E.C in order to be a successful civil Engineer with a sound technical skills & in 2018 I achieved my dream.
My journey of graduation was outstanding full of good experiences I made my parents so much proud, I have seen very good and bad days as well good when I won trophies & cash prizes in technical events and literacy fests, Good Mark’s in studies & there was also a time when all other departments student got job in their own field and I was not placed, But it was the part of my journey.
During 2nd I have learned a lot of things. I specially thanks to civil engg. Department specially Vashnavi madam , lovish sir , manish sir, and Archita goyal madam that they have provided every possible help whenever I needed in studies and they also motived me throughout. I feel So grateful that they are my teachers.
In my college life I made a very good friends , I got a good studying environment and experienced the reality of life by participating in N.S.S Swacch Bharat abhiyan and Shawl distribution kinds of activities.
I gave so much happiness to my parents & I still do. My parents are so grateful that they sent their son in such a best studying temple which not only made their son a Sound engineer but also made a very good citizen , I specially thanks to my soft skills trainer Mrs. Nisha verma madam for this.
My overall experience with my college life was very very good and satisfying, when I was in final year I got a chance to be a member of G.B.C which helped me to got job earlier I pay thanks to vaisnavi madam for this opportunity & when I was in last semester my project guide left the college and that was lovish sir & Archana madam they helped me to complete the project & as a result my project was the best. I pay my thanks to K.E.C management for providing these kind of good teachers.
