The Department of Computer Science & Engineering

The aim of CSE Department is to provide world-class education and research in modern computing. The department has a unified team of well experienced faculty members having wide experience in recent technologies. It also provides a supportive, friendly and challenging environment for teaching, learning and research. Department of computer science engineering offers numerous attractive experiences in terms of Industrial Internship, Minor Project and Major Project for the students. The department is cherished by a number of clubs and research groups. These clubs offer more opportunities for the students to enhance their experience in their interest areas and network with their peers. Each research group holds regular meetings and seminars to discuss current research topics and results.

The department places emphasis on all the important aspects of computer science such as High speed networks, mobile networks, Algorithm Design, Operational research, Advance database systems, Theory of computation, Computer Graphics, Software Engineering and many more. The department also takes initiative to improve the soft skills, analytical capabilities and verbal communication of the students so that they can face the competition in the corporate world confidently.


To create the conducive eco system for quality education and research in computer science and engineering thereby creating knowledge and skilled manpower with attributes of creativity and innovation, problem solving skills, leadership quality, ethical responsibility and sensitivity towards the society.


M1:To impart multi facet professional education through contemporary pedagogical tools with an emphasis on basics and advances of computer science and engineering to meet the present needs of the profession and society.
M2:To empower the students in the field of computer engineering with required skills to innovate, to be adroit problem solvers and to be leaders with great moral and ethical responsibility.

M3:To establish and strengthen Industry-Institute interaction program for promoting internship, research and consultancy in emerging technologies and real life projects to also inculcate the entrepreneurship skills.
M4:To develop conducive environment for the students and faculty for promoting lifelong learning etiquettes and be leaders in the competitive world. 

Facilities and Laboratories


The department provides wide range of computing resources for education and research. This includes more than 600 high-performance computers in the range of Linux, and Windows and a good number of laptop systems. In addition to general-purpose file server, the department maintains specialized servers for database clients, Linux based workstations, and Cloud storage. The college network communications include a fiber-optic backbone, offering 120 Mbps bandwidth to provide the internet. The department has wireless internet connectivity via a campus-wide 802.11b network to the laptops. There is a separate department library with more number of books, manuals, project reports and lecture CD Rom.
