  • Expert Talk on “Digital Innovation” by Mr. Ajay Jain (Sr. Manager, ADOBE) on 10th October 2019

Department of Computer Science & Engineering in association with Department of Information Technology has conducted an interactive Guest Lecture on Digital Innovation.

Mr. Ajay Jain discussed about “Digital Innovation”. He mentioned Digital Innovation is at the heart of every organization. You need to digitize internal operations to do things better, faster, and cheaper, find new ways to engage users and bring new products and services to market. But driving digital innovation is hard work. Changing market conditions mean that you’re planning around a moving target, and with disruptive startups popping up all over, competition is mounting. You need a faster path to transform your innovative new ideas into winning applications.

  • Department of Computer Science and Engineering under the IEEE Student chapter of KEC has organized Guest Lecture on BLOCKCHAIN & ITS APPLICATION on 12 September 2019.

Blockchain is essentially a way of keeping records and can be used in almost any product that uses some sort of record keeping or database management. Blockchain is great for protecting any data that needs to be tamper-resistant, and indestructible.

Blockchain is mostly useful when it eliminates a third party whose main responsibility is maintaining trust (e.g. banks) and the most promising start-ups in blockchain would be in the infrastructure/API level so that other companies improve their already existing solutions based on these start-ups. Blockstack, BlockCypher, Brave, and BitMark are my favorite blockchain startups.

  • Motivational talk by Dr. Marcin Paprzycki (Associate Professor) Systems Research Institute, Polish Academy of Sciences, Poland on 2nd July 2018.

He motivated the faculties to perform well in research areas as well as in teaching. The main purpose of writing and publishing is to disseminate research findings and to share new knowledge with other researchers in their respective fields. He further brought out that the results of research continues to be the most important dimension which should be evaluated on the basis of benefits extended to the community.

  • Guest Lecture on “Motivational talk on Research” by Prof. (Dr.) S.N.SINGH, Vice Chancellor, MMMUT, Gorakhpur (13th April 2018).

A positive mental game is the secret behind the success of many athletes, researchers and professionals. Dr. S. N. Singh motivated us tremendously to start performing research work as it is necessary to achieve quality in our profession. His motivational statements were great as one of his statements was “Your path will reveal itself in time. When you really know what you want to do with your life, when you find something you must do, that is when you must lock in and say THIS IS IT”.
