The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering
An academic degree in Electronics and Communication prepares a professional to work in various Engineering areas, from the sophisticated Bio-medical Diagnostic equipment to leading-edge Fiber Optic communications, Computers, Telecommunications, and Consumer Electronics so on and so forth. It aims at developing candidates’ Analytical and Programming skills, which makes them eligible for even Software companies. The Electronics & Communication engineers also get the opportunities to be involved in various stages such as the Design, Development and Maintenance of a huge range of systems as well as Projects. Electronics and Communication Specialists can work in both private and public firms.

The primary motto of the Department is to impart quality education through a curriculum that provides a strong foundation in the Analytic and Technological aspects of Engineering. We focus on producing Knowledgeable, Competent and Resourceful young Engineers who are ready to excel in a wide variety of job profiles. We also provide ample opportunities to students to work on Mini-Projects, develop Communication Skills, explore Internship Opportunities in industry and take part in National and International Conferences and Design Contests.
The Department works with an aim to develop specialized knowledge in Electronics and Communication Engineering, laying much emphasis on developing the students’ practical skills in Electronics Design Manufacturing Applications and Repairs. As we take note of our learners’ professional needs ardently, so various In-h events such as Technical events, Seminars, Personality Development classes, Workshops, Conferences, Guest lectures are being arranged at regular intervals.
M1: To educate the students with the recent technologies, and equip them with sound foundation for a lifelong learning, including higher education and research. Also, to inculcate professional ethics and team spirit thereby infusing the quality of adapting global environments.

Facilities and Laboratories
Electronics & Communication Engineering Department is housed on the second floor of Academic Block - I (AB-I). The building is fitted with inbuilt air ducts to maintain serene and cool academic environment. Entire building is fitted with centralized and portable Fire Safety systems. Water Coolers (with RO purified water supply) are installed on the floors. There are total 6 lecture rooms, well furnished with digital projectors to facilitate audio -visual aided animation classes for better understanding of the students. There are total 11 Lab rooms equipped with latest industry competent machinery and licensed software. The department houses a separate Departmental Library having approximately 500 books.

Mr. Omkar Sahu
Mr. Omkar Sahu developed a product Chhotu Cool bottle which keeps water cool while travelling. The student runs a start up called M/s ASG Enterprises and has received grants of Rs 6.25 lacs in 2017-18 from MSME.
Mr. Akanshu Sharma
Mr. Akanshu Sharma developed a mobile app DISHA to help the society. He owns a company M/s Innovare Outlook and has received a grant of Rs 3.4 lacs in 2017-18 from MSME.
Mr. Gaurav Sharma
Mr. Gaurav Sharma working on TRI-HOG in M/s ECO Motion received a grant of Rs 6.25 lacs in 2017-18 from MSME.
Mr. Ankit Sharma
Mr. Ankit Sharma works to enhance the performance of CI Engine and has received a grant of Rs 2.55 lacs in 2017-18 from MSME.
Ms. Shivangi Rastogi, Mr. Deepanshu and Ms. Anshul
Ms. Shivangi Rastogi, Mr Deepanshu Chauhan and Ms Anshul Jain developed Smart LPG Stove in M/s SDA Enterprises 4 to 3.4 lac in 2017-18 from MSME.
Shansank Saxena is working on Smart Automatic Power Saver with M/S Atrim Electronics Pvt. Ltd. He Received a grant of Rs 5.5 lac in 2010 –13 from MSME.
Ahyudya Shukla’s project Nursing Robotic hand received a grant of Rs 6.25 lac in 2010 –13 from MSME.
Avinash Verma received a grant of Rs 6.25 to develop Ultrasonic Adulteration detection Kit. He had a start up called M/S G B Technology in 2010–13 from MSME.

• Garv Rajput designed a Candy Dispenser which is a product used by shop retailers, malls to attract and entertain children
• Omkar Sahu and Nishi designed a Mosquito Magnet to make your home mosquito free.
• Akanshu Sharma,Vidit Kumar and Abhishek Mathur has prepared a mobile app called Margdarshak which is a revolutionary project for the society.
• Gaurav Sharma and Ashish Sharma are working on Smart Eye which is going to be a boon for physically disabled person.
• Shubham Singh, Sajan Oberoi and Ashveen Kaur developed a mobile app Yeti.
• Mukul Rampal,Saransh Bhardwaj and Shaurya Bhardwaj developed Smart Power Guard which helps in low power consumption of gadgets.
