The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering

An academic degree in Electronics and Communication prepares a professional to work in various Engineering areas, from the sophisticated Bio-medical Diagnostic equipment to leading-edge Fiber Optic communications, Computers, Telecommunications, and Consumer Electronics so on and so forth. It aims at developing candidates’ Analytical and Programming skills, which makes them eligible for even Software companies. The Electronics & Communication engineers also get the opportunities to be involved in various stages such as the Design, Development and Maintenance of a huge range of systems as well as Projects. Electronics and Communication Specialists can work in both private and public firms.

The primary motto of the Department is to impart quality education through a curriculum that provides a strong foundation in the Analytic and Technological aspects of Engineering. We focus on producing Knowledgeable, Competent and Resourceful young Engineers who are ready to excel in a wide variety of job profiles. We also provide ample opportunities to students to work on Mini-Projects, develop Communication Skills, explore Internship Opportunities in industry and take part in National and International Conferences and Design Contests.

The Department works with an aim to develop specialized knowledge in Electronics and Communication Engineering, laying much emphasis on developing the students’ practical skills in Electronics Design Manufacturing Applications and Repairs. As we take note of our learners’ professional needs ardently, so various In-h events such as Technical events, Seminars, Personality Development classes, Workshops, Conferences, Guest lectures are being arranged at regular intervals.


To be identified as a center of excellence in Electronics & Communication Engineering by facilitating students with conceptual and ethical education. To build professional careers of students by industry connect programs, research and hands-on experiences.

Facilities and Laboratories


Electronics & Communication Engineering Department is housed on the second floor of Academic Block - I (AB-I). The building is fitted with inbuilt air ducts to maintain serene and cool academic environment. Entire building is fitted with centralized and portable Fire Safety systems. Water Coolers (with RO purified water supply) are installed on the floors. There are total 6 lecture rooms, well furnished with digital projectors to facilitate audio -visual aided animation classes for better understanding of the students. There are total 11 Lab rooms equipped with latest industry competent machinery and licensed software. The department houses a separate Departmental Library having approximately 500 books.
