"V-Logger SOCIETY" is a society governed by Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of KEC. The society focuses on contributing and enhancing the application knowledge of the students in VLSI Technology. The VLSI Society is open to all the avid learners to acquire knowledge in Programming and Simulation of the Integrated Circuits. It offers a great platform to the innovative students to turn their genome ideas into reality. Also, facilitates Academic & Industrial Interaction through Technical quizzes, Paper Presentations and Seminars. The Society conducts Workshops, Short-term and Intensive Courses throughout the session.

Micro-Duino-Sor club is one of the most sought-after clubs of KEC that has established a Centre of Excellence in collaboration withTexas Instruments. Established in September 2017, the club has organized various training workshops for the learners, in association with the Technoware Society: The Technical Society of KEC. Embedded Systems are processing systems, designed for specific functions. Automotive, Robotics, Telecommunications, Consumer Electronics, Biomedical Equipment and Instrumentation are the fields where it is being used extensively.

Looking at its diversity of applications and potential of producing highly innovative products, Embedded Systems can be considered as the Present & Future of Technology. The Micro-Duino-Sor Club incepted with an intention to enable the students to apply modern Electronic Methods to provide solutions to challenges, and to develop prototypes for various Embedded Systems applications.

SAE INDIA is an affiliate society of SAE International registered in India as an Indian non-profit engineering and scientific society dedicated to the advancement of mobility industry in India.

All efforts are on now with an aim to propel the automotive engineering profession by focusing on three trends occurring in the automotive industry today that affect all automotive engineers and engineering societies. The first of these trends is Simultaneous Engineering - the integration of the roles of the design engineer, manufacturing engineer, supplier, marketer, and planner. The second trend is the increased reliance of auto manufacturers on suppliers and design houses to support the design and manufacturing functions. A third factor crucial to an internationalized auto industry is standards as communication, as a basis for regulation, and as an aid to interchangeability.

The founding principle of the SAE International is to unite scientific and technical staff to perform free academic discussions, to dedicate themselves to the cause of prospering the science and technology for automotive vehicles and to make contributions to speed up the modernization of automotive industry. SAEINDIA is a professional engineering society whose membership represents practically every engineering and scientific discipline.

SAE-KEC COLLEGIATE CLUB

SAE-KEC collegiate club is one of the best technical societies of KEC registered under the SAE-INDIA. Team members of KEC have been participating in various events of SAE INDIA and bringing success to the institutions every year. The student and faculty members also regularly conducting various competitions like automobile quizzes, workshops, seminars, CAD software training etc. various seminars are also organized for students to inculcate real engineering skills.

SAE INDIA EfficycleTeam Name- Etrigan

The Efficycle is an intercollegiate design competition for undergraduate and graduate engineering students where teams have to design and fabricate an energy efficient Hybrid human powered- three wheeled-electric vehicle. The team Etrigan from Krishna engineering college, particupates every year in this event. The students of mechanical engineering designed an aerodynamic, highly engineered, safe and ergonomically Efficycle.

"ELECTROPHILA" is Technical club headed by Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, in association with the TECHNOWARE Society of KEC. The society aims to sharpen the Technical and Communication Skills of our Learners by providing them an open platform to exhibit their talent. The primary objective is to augment the confidence by conducting prolific activities for the scholars, thereby facilitating them to gain appreciation and win laurels from all the spheres of Industries.

In addition, equal emphasis has been given to the Scholastic virtues by arranging Industrial Visits& Workshops along with Technical Poster/ Paper Presentation for all.

Electrophila was established in February 2009, with the following objectives.

Music builds imagination and intellectual curiosity among students. It assists students in enhancing their senses for pattern recognition and also in emotional development. It supports them with relaxing environment which is essential in today’s stressful life. The RAAG Society is thus founded to help KEC students get a platform related to singing and music activities that take place in the college. It builds foundation of instrumental skills as well as lifelong appreciation for music.

RAAG also allows abundance of opportunities for every student to perform not only at college but promotes them to participate at other colleges throughout the year to help develop students’ confidence.

MESA (Mechanical Engineering Students Association) Club of Krishna Engineering College has been established in ME Deptt for providing a platform to the students for their professional and overall development. This groupis associated with Techno-ware Society that performs in the in state and national competitions.These may include quiz bowls and academic decathlons.

Cyborg Roboteers Club is the most popular club among the students in KEC. The club was established under the influential leadership and expert guidance of Dr.Sandeep Tiwari and Dr.A.N.Mishra. This club is run by Mechanical Department in association with Electronics and Communication Department. The club is a gathering of students who are interested in learning about and working with robots. The mission of the club is to encourage the Tech aficionados’ enthusiasm and knowledge towards Robotics by providing a hands-on and multi-disciplinary collaborative experience in Robots Programming, Designing and Building.

At KEC, Robotics club holds a significant place. Students learn to make several varieties of robots which can be used in everyday life. As they make robots for fun, this Club actually turns Learning into Experiential Learning.

The Learners also get the opportunities to participate in various Robotics Competitions. During Robotic Competitions, the teams of students design and build robots which can compete against opponents in a series of exhilarating challenges. Students develop and program their robot in the weeks before the event, adhering to list of preset rules and regulations. Much like any other traditional sporting event, these competitions draw large crowds who gather to see which robot will best perform the task it has set out to complete.

The Club provides necessary guidance, workshops and tutorials along with tools, equipments, components and workspace. Our endeavour is to motivateour students about learning Science, Engineering and Technology. Thus was the reason for foundation of DRAMAC Society at KEC. The DRAMAC society is for all the events related to dramatics not only at KEC but helping students participate in other colleges as well. Dramatic Arts education is an important means of stimulating creativity in problem solving. It can challengestudents' perception about their world and about themselves. DRAMAC thus help students in Dramatic exploration, providing students with an outlet for emotions, thoughts, and dreams that they might not otherwise have means to express.

This was the reason behind the foundation REGAL Society at KEC, sculpturing future Leaders. The REGAL society plays the backbone while organizing all the arts and cultural activities that take place at KEC. Gone are the days when only academic programs were the only activities organised in colleges and all students focused on that. With the changing trend we at KEC have noticed a major difference in the field of academics too. Students don’t want to be bookworms; they look for other possibilities that could help them in the future. Besides, this in this high-tech world, every student wants to acquire knowledge in every field to stay upbeat, thus is the need to organize all kind of extra-curricular events at KEC as well.

Starting from welcoming the fresher’s by organizing Fresher’s Party to bidding farewell to the outgoing batch, to organizing Innovation Day or college’s Fest REGAL does it all. Every such event is designed under the supervision of this society. This helps students gain confidence and prepares them mentally to face every situation in life optimistically.

REGAL does it with the help of a team of its students’ coordinators under the guidance and supervision of its faculty mentors. Be it designing, or collaborating with other cultural and technical societies at KEC every event we organize at college or send KEC students to participate to other colleges has always been a grand success…………… And the legacy continues……!!!!

Nirmaan, the society of Civil Engineers of KEC , was established in 2015 and associated with technoware society of college. It was and it always will be to enhance the all-round development of the students, not only in academics but also practically and socially. The on-field knowledge is a must for the students of Civil Engineering domain.

We shape our buildings, thereafter they shape us.

Various activities and competition have been performed under NIRMAAN like Rag to Rich, Bear The Load. With active involvement of our members and the support of team.

The students also actively participate in several events organized by other colleges.

• Students of 2nd year civil scored 3rd position in ZONAL FEST march held at IPEC ,Ghaziabad with their project UNDERWATER TUNNEL

• 3rd year students scored 1st position in college tech fest ,BEAR THE LOAD "in constructing “HYDRAULLIC BRIDGE" with ice cream sticks and then load testing.

• 2nd year civil students scored 1st position in college Tech fest ,"RAG TO RICH" with their project UNDERWATER TUNNEL".

• 3RD year students of civil secured 2nd position in Fugal Engineering in Zonal literary and management fest held at AKGEC .

• Students of 3rd yr Civil Engineering won prize in project Exhibition for their project “ permeable pavements” and “Eco Enzyme cleaner.

The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a Central Sector Scheme of Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. It provides opportunity to the student youth of Technical Institution, Graduate & Post Graduate at colleges and University level of India to take part in various government led community service activities & programmes. The sole aim of the NSS is to provide hands on experience to young students in delivering community service.

1 : KACHRA SAMADHAN ORGANISED BY NSS :-

Kachra samadhan mahotsav was held on 22nd april 2018. It was inaugurated by V.K.SINGH at Ramlila ground in Kavi Nagar,where he praised DM Ritu Maheswari for the event and said the concept ‘BEST OF WASTE’should be emulated by other districts also and should serve as an example for future such events

2 : NASHA MUKTI ABHIYAN ORGANISED NY NSS:-

A step towards making the youth drug free. Nasha Mukti seminar is organized by NSS society of Krishna Engineering College in association with Nasha Mukti Kendra Ghaziabad. The main motive has to spread the awareness among all the generation, Huge number of student as well as faculty members participated and made it a successful event by making a drug free chain.

3:-HINDI DIWAS ORGANISED BY NSS:-

Hindi feels like home. To celebrate our pride, our language, hindi diwas was organized by NSS and WOMAN CELL of Krishna Engineering College on 14th September 2018. Many new and unknown talents were seen. Poetries, stories, dance and songs were performed.

Students enjoyed the eventand appreciated the efforts with accolades. This made it a successful one.

4 : Blood Donation camp organized by NSS:-

Do you feel you don’t have much to offer? You have the most precious resource of all: the ability to save a life by donating BLOOD! Help share this invaluable gift with someone in need was the motive of Krishna Engineering College behind organizing the Blood Donation camp, by Rotary Club of Ghaziabad North on 5th October 2018.

Students participated in huge numbers and made it a successful event. 200 students donated the blood and we really appreciate their kindness towards humanity.

5 : SVEEP event organized by NSS:-

On 26th September 2018, there was an event in our college, which was held by NSS. In this event our main guest was from SVEEP (Systematic value education &electoral participation). Sveep is a society which helps the people to get aware about voting and tell us what are its advantages. NSS Students took part actively and motivated the students for having voter card and presented some cultural events also.

Mech Macho's Club affiliated with the Department of Mechanical Engineering and certified by AUTODESK.This club performs all the events in association with Techno-ware society where students are strongly encouraged to participate in various design competitions. They provide excellent professional development and networking opportunities, in addition to providing a great way to extend classroom knowledge.It was Initiated by Mr.Shailesh Kumar Singh (Department of Mechanical Engineering), with the solitary objective of enhancing the designing skill of students and participating in a different competition.

The Emerging Technologies & Trends Club is a motivation for all the recent technologies lovers to explore new horizons in its various fields. The club organizes events, workshops and quizzes to brainstorm the students and make them aware of the recent technologies they wish to thrive in. The vision of this club is to seamlessly integrate learning with the fun. The club was initiated by experienced faculties and enthusiastic students from the departments of CSE in association with Technoware society. Sport is a physical activity that tests our athletic abilities. It’s kind of a physical exercise in which we compete with the opponent/s solely for the purpose of entertainment. KEC Sports Society emphasises on sports events like Basketball, football, cricket, volley ball, badminton, kabaddiand many other indoor sports. Here we equip our students with all the necessary equipments in each and every sport as well as professionals to train them and excel in every sport.

KEC Sports Society organizes both indoor and outdoor games at the college to help our students win not only at our college but at other colleges as well. KEC also has a dedicated indoor sports facility for its students. Because we at KEC know very well that sports helps the students in gaining confidence and prepares them mentally to face every situation in real life optimistically.
