Behind organizing Student Felicitation Program is to appreciate and magnify the imaginative instincts and acts of brilliance in our talented students of the Institute. KEC organizes this program not just to celebrate the glorious achievements of our students but also to give due regard to our values and morals like discipline, compassion and zeal for learning. Our management strongly believes that felicitation is a way to encourage good behavior and competitive spirit. They have always provided a healthy, ethical and fairly competitive environment to grow in every sphere of the activity.
Awards are the way to encourage desired behavior and inculcate competitive spirit. This is the reason why KEC organizes award ceremony every year to boost its students by way of Cash Prizes and Certificates who excelled in the university examinations.
On Friday, 30th November 2018, KEC students were honored for their Academic achievement during the session 2017-18 at the ‘Academic Awards Distribution Function’ in the College Auditorium. Shri Atul Garg , Hon’ble Minister of State, Food and Logistics, U.P. Govt was the Chief Guest and Shri Sunil P.Gupta, Treasurer - FCS & Shri Sarish Chaudhary, Secretary-FCS, Dr. Manoj Goel, Director (Admin) also graced the occasion. Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Tiwari, Director-KEC and Prof. (Dr.) Sanjeev Kumar, Dean (Academics) distributed the cash prize and certificate to the meritorious students. This was an occasion of joy for all the students as they have come together to celebrate this auspicious day.
These students were selected on the basis of their academic performance and who scored aggregate 75% and above marks in the first attempt of University Examinations in the academic session 2017-18. In this year, an amount of Rs. 5, 04,800/- was distributed among 484 students of all the branches of Engineering. Out of 484 students, 262 students were awarded the Certificates of Merit while 222 students also received the cash prize.
Ms. Rishika Dikshit
of Computer Science & Engineering Branch secured 87.28% marks and got 8th Rank in the University Merit and was awarded a Cash prize of Rs. 20,000/- .
Toppers from each branch of every year
were awarded with amount of Rs.10000/- which included more than 15 students.
- Second toppers of the branch got the cash amount of Rs. 5000/-
- Students with aggregate more than 80% received Rs.1000/- and thereafter additional Rs 100/- for 1% of every increase of marks.
Students at Krishna Engineering College have not only excelled in academics but also contributed profusely in the extra-curricular activities like sports, drama, artworks, organizing college events and many other things. They have not only made us proud by bringing accolades to our College but also have given it a nation-wide recognition hence, adding feathers to its cap.
