Circuit Designing Course
Circuit Designing:The Circuit Designing course provides students an opportunity to learn Hands on experience onbasic electronic circuits and simulation NI MultiSim software. Through modules and experiments we will demonstrate the use of MultiSim software and its use in various circuit simulation and designing.
The Department conducted Value added course on Circuit Designing organized by the faculty of ECE Department for EC 3rdYear during the odd semester of session 2019-20.

ROBOTICS COURSE
Robotics: This course provides hands-on experience on basic electronic components, Fire Bird V Robot and its Avtars. Examples and exercises demonstrate the use of appropriate Microprocessor/Microcontroller and their interfacing with various sensors and actuators to design the application specific Robotic System.
The Department conducted Value added course on Robotics organized by the faculty of ECE Department for EC 2ndYear during 20th May 2019 to 7th June 2019.
The Department is again conducting this course on Robotics for the interested students from all the branches during the odd semester of session 2019-20.

Value Added Program on MX Road
MX ROAD training is under progress for 3rd year and 4th year students. By this students will learn to design road pavements and to analyse the behaviour of pavements in response to various loading conditions.
Road Design & Analysis using MXROAD training aims to impart training on the essentials of the MXROAD technology. Through this MX Road Design Training, the candidates would get the chance to gain hands-on experience under the supervision of the experienced trainers, who help them in improvising their design quality by using the intelligence with traditional engineering workflows of the plan. Moreover, this MX Road Course enables in-depth insight on Regression analysis, Dynamic, interactive 3D modeling of roadways and corridors, etc.
After completing the MX Road Design Training, the candidates would be able to:

Value Added Program on AUTOCAD and STAAD PRO
AUTOCAD, STAAD PRO training has been conducted for Civil Engineering students. With this training students learned to draw structural drawings and to anlayse the structures in order to judge the response of the structures in various loading conditions.

Value Added Program on Surveying
A survey camp was organized for 3rd year students at Leisure Valley, Faridabad Students performed various survey experiments like plane table survey, chaining survey , theodolite survey to have a topographical details of the area. Students took part in this survey with high enthusiasm. The objectives of the surveying are as follows:

Winter/Summer School Training
Summer School in KEC is conducted for the newly admitted students in soft skill, Mathematics, Physics and Computer Programming to provide a foundation for the upcoming Engineers. Winter/Summer Schools are held to conduct classes of all the subjects of Science and Engineering to enable the students to excel in creative learning. Summer school also hone up the 1st year pass out students in emerging technical projects and industry oriented spoken English, so that they are given much clear platform for their further studies.

Mainly the students from UP Board and rural back ground who are weak and hesitant in communicating in English language are immensely benefitted by these classes and become confident in English communication.
Foundation / Bridge Course:
Foundation course is held for the newly admitted students in the Subjects of Mathematics, Physics, English and Computer Programming during the month of July every year to bridge the gap between school and college studies. This course enables the students to revise their school syllabi so that they are able to grasp the contents of B. Tech. syllabus without much difficulty.
NPTEL Certification
Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) is essentially an asynchronous platform and a process for teaching through pre-recorded lectures, resource video materials, lecture notes, assignments and quizzes, which are usually online and provide self assessment in regular intervals during learning. National Programme for Technology Enhanced Learning is a joint initiative from IITs and IISc to offer online courses and certification in various topics. Our B.tech first year students have successfully completed MOOCs (NPTEL) Based Course Developing Soft Skills and personality during Odd semester and Enrolled in Enhancing Soft Skills and personality-Even Semester.

KEC SKILLS Development is an initiative promoted by Krishna Engineering College (KEC) in collaboration with National Skill Development Corporation to strengthen ‘Skill India’ mission launched by Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Govt. of India. The objective of this initiative is to encourage skill development for youth to align their technical competency to meet the manpower requirement of modern Industries established under ‘Make in India’ initiative of Govt. of India. It also aims to nurture creativity and innovation in youth to promote Entrepreneurship. This course is designed for the individuals who need to expand his/her core competence on the subject of welding. The students of KEC may play the role of designers, inspectors, managers, or welders with a need to understand the fundamentals of welding benefit from the practical aspects of welding technology offered here.

Value Added Course on Internet of Things (IOT)
Value Added Courses are conducted during summer /winter break for the students in PCB designing & Embedded System, Internet of things, Antenna Designing (IE3D), MATLAB Programming, to provide practical knowledge and to give hands-on experience to students. Workshops and Guest Lectures have been planned by industrial centers to give exposure to our students on industry requirements.
Internet of Things (IOT) : Students learned the significance of IoT and gain insights on why this technology is becoming an integral part of the daily learning and teaching methodologies.

PCB Designing & Embedded System
PCB designing & Embedded System : A step-by-step tutorial on PCB design and manufacturing is provided in the course. Students learn to convert their prototype circuit into a fully optimized PCB by drawing holes, pads, wires and components soldering over the board. Followed by designing and implementation of the circuits using Embedded Systems.
Value Added Course on PCB Designing & Embedded System was organized for EN 3rd year students organized by Cetpa InfoTech Pvt. Ltd. from 5th June 2018 to 18 June 2018.

Embedded System Course
Embedded Systems : Designing and implementation of the circuits to gain observations on performance of the circuit and its application. These circuits should also be simulated on Pspice and implemented using TL082, LM741, NE555, ASLK, and MPY634 KP connecting wires, Power Supply, function generator and oscilloscope. Student will also study different sensors and will be able to make devices having computational intelligence (ROBOTICS).
The Department conducted Value added course on Embedded Design organized by Automation Engineers A.B. Pvt. Ltd. Noida for EC 3rd Year during 4th June 2018 to 14 June 2018.

Data Analytics with R
With an objective of giving the young minds a platform to understand and learn the basics of data science using ‘R’ as a computing tool, Department of CSE, KEC organized a workshop entitled ‘Data Analysis with R’ on 31st March to 9th April 2019 under IEEE student branch of Krishna Engineering College, Ghaziabad.
Resource person of the workshop Mr. Sri Raman Gopalan from Mumbai a renowned name in the field of data analysis. Students of CSE always challenge themselves to practice, reflect on their work, learn, and lead as a better professional across various activities in academia.The workshop was conducted in association with DEVARTY Technologies.
Data science is all about transforming data into business using mathematics and algorithms. ‘R’ is one of the most commonly used languages among data scientist. R is a dynamic language and environment for statistical computing that combines the features of object oriented and functional programming. It provides a wide variety of highly extensible statistical and graphical techniques. R is an Open Source suite for data modeling and is the choice of researchers in statistical analysis.
The R programming language has become an important tool for computational statistics, visualization, data science and predictive modeling. It is used to solve challenging problems in fields like computational biology, quantitative marketing and finance. It is an integrated suite of software that effectively handles data analysis and storage, performs calculation on arrays, integrates collection of statistical analysis tool, and operates as a general matrix calculation toolbox. They can also make use of user-created packages which allow specialized statistical techniques, graphical devices (ggplot2), import/export capabilities, reporting tools, etc.
The objective of this workshop is to provide an opportunity for students to interact with leading persons in statistics and data analytics. This workshop aims at meeting a growing need in Data Analytics among the students. It will give them a comprehensive overview of R in Data Analytics, projects/research related to it and a hands-on experience in applying them.

Gate coaching class for IV year students
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all India examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in Engineering and Technology. GATE is conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven IITs (IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee) on behalf of the National Coordination Board – GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), and Government of India.

GATE score is used for admissions to various Post-Graduate Education Programs (e.g. Master of Engineering, Master of Technology, Doctor of Philosophy) in Indian Higher Education Institutes, with financial assistance provided by MHRD and other government agencies.Opportunities:
Apart from higher education, GATE scores are also being used by several Indian Public Sector Undertakings for recruiting graduate engineers in entry-level positions. It is an opportunity for the students to create them as dynamic Engineers to face the competitive world by enhancing their employability skills.Many public sector undertakings such as BHEL, Indian Oil Corporation, NTPC, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), HPCL etc., (there are PSUs totaling 217 in number) are using the GATE score for selecting candidates for their organizations.

Arise By Aricent’ To Impart Employable Skills To Engineering Students
Under this program, the students are trained in the qualification pack for software developers, as developed by the Sector Skills Council NASSCOM.
This on-campus program will engage with 16 Tier-2 and Tier-3 engineering colleges providing the necessary job skills to students from underserved communities. In order to increases the employability of the students, the department of computer science and engineering/ Information Technology, KEC has organized a 60 days internship program for final year students during 2018-2019 on JAVA programming Totally, 159 students registered and successfully completed the NASSCOM course on JAVA.
The candidates will be assessed on the NDSC- SSC NASSCOM Qualification Packs (QP) and certified for the relevant job roles, further enhancing the chances of employment.

Department of IT organized 60 hours’ workshop for the students on Internet of Things from 01st March to 10th March 2019 under IEEE student branch of Krishna Engineering College, Ghaziabad.
Students of IT always challenge themselves to practice, reflect on their work, learn, and lead as a better professional across various activities in academia. Internet of Things (IoT) is becoming ubiquitous with edge sensor nodes getting more and more intelligent and capable to transmit their information directly to a cloud and also get controlled /actuated from the cloud. The pervasive nature of hooking anything to the internet which was not thought previously opens up a new era of imagination and deployment for a connected world with endless possibilities.
